DENYS HOOD is well-known in the choral world for his very individual compositions and arrangements, which prove to be to the liking of both choristers and audiences. This can, to some extent, be attributed to the fact that he has trained and conducted both mixed and male voice choirs for some years, and therefore has first hand experience of the capabilities of the average chorister, and the tastes of the average audience member.

He has, in addition, received many invitations to write commissioned works, which have always proved to be successful and popular.
